The Toledo Area Bicyclists Club proudly presents the 17th annual Mad
Anthony River Rally Saturday, August 7th, 2010! Registration/Locations The Mad Anthony River Rally 31, 62 and 100 mile routes start and end at the YMCA located at 13415 Eckel Junction Rd. Perrysburg, OH., (see map for directions) not far from historic Fort Meigs. This area is filled with historical sites many of which involve our rides's namesake-General "Mad" Anthony Wayne. Registration and start of the MARR Special Family 10 and 15 mile routes (mainly along bike paths) will ONLY take place at the Community of Christ Church, 6517 Finzel in Whitehouse, OH. This is also the location of the Chris Cakes Pancake breakfast. Registration at both locations opens at 7:00 a.m. and closes at 9:30 a.m. Routes Riders may start from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with route choices of 10, 15 31, 62, or 100 miles. Routes are well marked and each rider will receive a detailed map with cue sheet showing mileage and stops. The 10 and 15 mile family riders must be on the road no later than 9:45 a.m. The 31 and 62 mile riders must be on the road no later than 9:30 a.m. The 100 mile riders must start no later than 8:00 a.m. The Century riders follow the scenic Maumee River along the last leg. Refreshment Stops & Lunch
Chris Cakes Pancake breakfast will be served from 7:45a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the first rest stop (18 mile mark) Refreshments and snacks - homemade cookies, fruits, sports drinks and water, will be available to all registered riders at all the rest stops from mid morning until late afternoon. Lunch will be provided to all 64 and 100 mile route riders. In the MARR tradition ice cream will be served to all participants at the end of the ride. Sag Support Support vehicles will be patrolling the routes to assist riders in the event of emergencies and non-repairable breakdowns. Sag service stops at 5:00 p.m. T-Shirts A ride shirt you can actually use for cycling. Our quality polyester moisture wicking shirt will help to keep you cool and dry in the summer. In cool weather this shirt is an ideal base layer to keep you warm and dry. This will be your favorite ride shirt and is a great buy at only $15.00! It is strongly suggested that you pre-order your shirt to avoid disappointment. Very limited number of shirts and sizes day of ride.
After the Ride: Showers and towels are available at the YMCA at no charge.
