The Event

Toledo Area Bicyclists is happy to bring you the 29th running of the rally. This event serves to raise funds for the support of the club, enabling it to pursue its mission. Ask anyone; TAB loves a good bike ride. We also like giving back to the community we live in. This year we will make a donation to Partners for Clean Streams. Without them, the Mighty Maumee wouldn’t be such a beautiful place to spend time.

The 31, 61, and 102-Mile Ride

This year we will be running all routes along the Mighty Maumee. Starting in Whitehouse, Ohio, riders will bike to the river crossing in Waterville and continue upriver on the south side. Riders will get to enjoy the view as they travel the gently rolling countryside. The 31-mile course takes riders out to Grand Rapids and back. The 61-mile course travels to Napoleon and back. Finally, the 102-mile course goes all the way to Defiance and back. Each route crosses the Maumee and directs riders downriver on the north side to a finish in Whitehouse where everyone will enjoy lunch and a frosty beverage celebrating their accomplishment.

Gravel Ride (32 miles)
Asphalt too clean for you? Bring your gravel bike, MTB, or if you really want a challenge, Fat Bike rig. Riders will traverse the Tow Path out to Providence Dam for a quick photo op, then turn around to access the rest stop before continuing back to the start.

What riders get

  • Commemorative medal
  • String bag with goodies
  • Timing chip (yep, this year too!)
  • Lunch with 1 free drink
  • SAG support
(Gravel Ride SAG will be limited due to trail access)
  • Access for up to 5 rest stops

Maybe something different:

The Family Ride

Want to enjoy the festivities without putting up double digit miles? Maybe a nice cruise on the bike path with the kids? Or maybe you want to take it easy and then hang out with friends afterwards? Come on out around 11 am and try this 2.5 mile route winding through Whitehouse and around the quarry. Each rider/participant will get lunch and a drink.

Add on a few more miles up the Wabash if you like, then decompress with lunch. The playground is right next door. Or visit Generals Ice Cream!

Post Ride Refuel

Lunch will be provided again by the Whitehouse Inn! Start your recovery with a delicious sandwich or veggie wrap, complete with sides. Earnest Brew Works will be back with the beer! Both to be enjoyed at the pavilion in Whitehouse.

Hang Out Option

Not a cyclist? Don’t have a bike? Can’t ride due to an injury or some other bad decision? Or maybe your family wants to join you at the finish line to witness your triumph. Select the hangout option to get lunch and a beer or pop to drink.

How about a little something to remember the day by?

This year’s shirt is sure to bring back great memories. Enjoy the comfort of a Bella+Canvas brand shirt with this year's logos and let everyone know you were there!

How about something to put on your fridge or the back of the car? Enjoy this 4” full color magnet!

Also available are the string bags (pictured above) in case you want extra. They work great for transporting stinky post-ride socks!

Think you might need more than one drink? Feel free to purchase extra drink tickets ahead of time.

And if you rode last year, you can add on last years T-shirt or medal if you want to add it to your collection.

Are you ready?!?
